CARE gives people a structure for practicing how they meet a moment — considering more than the first interpretation, appreciating other possibilities, recognizing what may be supportive, constructive or good, and allowing the experience of the moment to shift. It isn't a set of rigid steps toward a particular feeling; it creates room for another experience of the moment.
